Telesales Professional  

Reports to: The Telesales Professional will report to the Sales Director

Job overview: The Telesales Professional is responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying and matching a solution to a customer’s requirements based on specific criteria.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • To make outgoing cold calls in order to generate interest in our products and services
  • To answer questions about product specifications
  • To maintain a list of potential sales and follow ups by managing your activities in Hubspot
  • To maintain a working knowledge or our products and services
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Direct prospects to the business development team when needed
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner

Your targets are:

  • £8,000 of connected business per calendar month

Individuals who will succeed in this position, will need to:

  • Be self-motivated
  • Confident and polite on the phone
  • Able to use initiative and get the job done
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
  • Perform well under pressure

Individuals who wish to be promoted to Business Development Manager will need to:

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the sales process
  • Demonstrate an ability to sell and process customers accurately and efficiently
  • Consecutively achieve Target over a 6-month period
